This note applies to <i>every </i>referee who enters match results
into WebYouthSoccer.<br>
<br>
But it applies most especially to <b>U7, U8, </b>and <b>U10 team
referees</b>, who may have self-assigned!<br>
<br>
When you are entering your match results on the "Input Game Cards" page
in WebYouthSoccer, please look at the "Referee Team" portion of the
page (on the upper right side). Example:<br>

If any member of the referee team is inorrect or missing, please click
on the "Edit" button and make the necessary updates!<br>
<br>
Among other benefits, making sure that every referee is correctly
credited for his/her games officiated allows WebYouthSoccer to track
each referee's game history. That's information that every referee will
need when upgrading to a higher-level referee badge.<br>

<br>
<b><u>In U10 and above divisions</u>,</b> there should <i>always </i>be
a three-person referee team.<br>

If you had to recruit an untrained club linesman at the field, then
s/he cannot be recorded as a member of the referee team. But please
record her/him (with complete name) in your "Game Comments" field.<br>
<br>
<u><b>In U7 and </b><b>U8 divisions</b></u>, there will only be a
single referee:<br>

but unfortunately, many U7 and U8 games recorded in WebYouthSoccer so
far this season show no referee at all!<br>

This means that no referee got credit for officiating the match. And
should there be a need to reach out to the referee after the match,
e.g. to resolve an issue raised in the game comments, your region 45
board members have no idea whom to contact!<br>

Please take a few extra moments to ensure that the referee (or referee
team) are always recorded completely and correctly.<br>
