Hello AYSO Region 45 Referees,

If you are a Regional Referee, please consider taking parts or all of the
Intermediate Referee clinic being offered through AYSO Area 2J. If you can't
fit in all 5 sessions this fall, you can complete the modules in the spring.
You must register to attend and the information on doing so is provided at
the bottom.

Please contact Bob Henderson (rdi at ayso45.org) if you have specific questions
about the Intermediate Referee badge and the certification program.

*New Referee Clinic:  Fall Intermediate Referee Clinic*

We are trying something new this year to get more people to upgrade to the
Intermediate Referee badge.  Area 2J is providing the Intermediate Referee
Clinic over four successive Thursday evenings in October.  The schedule is
as follows:

October 1:     Module I - Understanding More Physically Demanding and
Challenging Matches

                     Module VI - AYSO National Referee Program

October 8:     Module II Fouls and Misconduct – Intermediate

October 15:    Module III - Offside – Intermediate

                     Module IV - Interaction with Coaches and Spectators

October 22:    Module V - The Referee Team and Diagonal System of Control

October 29:    Law Review

                     Intermediate Referee Test

All clinic lectures will be held at the Queensborough Swim Club, 1135 Miller
Avenue, San Jose, CA, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Snacks to be provided.

Come to all and take the test on the last Thursday.  Come to as many as you
can make, then make up the rest at the Spring Intermediate Referee Clinic
(date is TBD).

You MUST register to attend, because the clinic is limited to 15 people.  PRO
Referees are also invited to attend.
