[ayso45-refs] Referee Field Bags & Match Balls for U10, U12, U14

U10, U12, and U14 referees,

Opening day is tomorrow, September 5. A few reminders about the referee 
field bags and match balls.

Region 45 provides special match balls for game day.  These balls are 
much higher quality than the regular practice balls (and of course, much 
more expensive).  Please take care of the match balls as well as the 
other referee equipment.

Check the match balls for proper inflation.  Because they are new, they 
may need to be "topped off" especially before the first match of the day.

The referee field bag is in the field locker at each field. The field 
bag contains the match ball, AR flags, ball pump, and a few spare 
supplies (extra pencils, whistles, blank lineup cards, doggie bags).

gets back in the referee field bag*/ after every match, along with the 
AR flags.  Don't let the players warm up with the match ball!  It will 
disappear into some team's ball bag, never to be seen again.

Your coaches have the field box combination.

The referee of the first match of the day picks up the referee field bag 
from Anna Silverman and brings it to the field. The field bag contains 
the match balls, AR flags, ball pump, and a few spare supplies (extra 
pencils, whistles, blank lineup cards, doggie bags).

When you are picking up the field bag, be sure to take the correct bag 
for your field (the bags are marked) - otherwise, you may not have the 
correct size(s) of match balls.

The Addidas size 5 ball for U14 matches is fluorescent orange. The 
Select "Thor" size 4 ball for U12 matches is (mostly) white.

The referee of the final U12 or U14 match of the day at each field is 
responsible for collecting the referee field bag and returning it to 
Anna Silverman. In particular, at Huff (large), be sure to collect the 
game ball and field bag after the 10AM U12G match - the rest of the day 
at Huff (large) is U10 boys, which has their own field bag.
