*Intermediate Referee Course*, Oct 27-29 in Portola Valley; 6-9PM each

further information.  Must be AYSO Regional Referee to attend for credit.

*Advanced Referee Course*, Saturday, October 31 from 9-5 and Sunday, 
November 1st from 9-Noon, Cubberley Community Center, Palo Alto.

650 799-2267 for further information (e.g. Room #).  Must be AYSO 
Intermediate Referee to attend for credit.  Still some spaces available

*Special presentation by Tom Bobadilla*, AYSO National Referee Program 
Administrator, FIFA Referee, and USSF National Assessor on Saturday 
October 31, at 4:30 to 6:00 pm.  *Topic:  Reading the Advanced (U16 and 
U19) Game*.  Location: Cubberley Community Center, Room H1, 4000 
Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto.  RSVP not required.  This is part of the 
Advanced Referee Course but open to all.

*Special referee clinic* on Sunday November 1, Cubberly Football Field, 
1:15 kick-off (observers should arrive at 12:45 for pre-game prep).  Tom 
Bobadilla, AYSO National Referee Program Administrator, former FIFA Asst 
Referee, and USSF National Assessor will observe an AYSO U19B match and 
meet with referees to discuss the match after.  While intended to 
close-out the Advanced Referee Course, all are invited to observe and be 
part of the Q&A at the field after.

/(note: due to the conflict with the clinic on Sunday and the U16/19 
league, there is a severe shortage of referees for the many tournament 
games in the league.  If you are not attending the clinic or can still 
referee a game before or after, please send your availability to Linval
