Following up on Kevin's message, everyone who participates *MUST BE A
REGISTERED VOLUNTEER* and *SAFE HAVEN CERTIFIED *and *MUST HAVE COMPLETED
SOME DEGREE of COACH or REFEREE CERTIFICATION* (e.g., must be trained in
their volunteer duty).
People who are not registered volunteers, Safe Haven certified and
trained in their volunteer duty are not covered by AYSO's insurance nor
covered for liability should some issue arise.
As such, we need everyone to comply with this and if you suspect that others
are attending, please ask them to sit out.
AYSO Region 45 does not run an Adult league and therefore, these are not
sanctioned events. These are being couched as training events similar to a
scrimmage used as a training tool at a coach training session. Kevin or one
of the UK Trainers will give two minutes of training prior to the start
of the scrimmage and the scrimmage will be used as the tool for teaching the
training you have received.
Thanks,
Drew
