THIS IS A LOW KEY EXTREMELY FUN EVENT. 

SMALL SIDED GAMES (5v5). 

The players are teenage to adult w/ U8 to U12 skill levels, exceptionally polite, and give the ref's lots of love.

Sunday update: we fill two spots (thanks Bob) and we lost 2, so we still need a bunch on Saturday, keep spreading the word. 

Please wear yellow’s when you ref with any other color if there is a yellow team. For those that have reffed before bring your VIP badge, for those that have not I will have extra badges to give you. Also come 30mins prior to your first game and check in and I will review the rules with you. 



The attached map is not so great, the event is as last year at Gunderson HS in San Jose. 



Reminder, I will have water and sports drinks at ref table, lunch is also provided J 



Update – Only 2 spots left open on Sunday – J Yahoo!!! 

But… 14 centers open on Saturday L Please let me know if you can take a spot.

I apologize for the short notice as I just found out today that the event this year is in a week and a half from now. The tournament will be in the same location as last year and we could use your support to make this another great year. I do not have the schedule yet and will work with Cindy over the next couple of days to get it, though I imagine games to run from 9am – 3 pm on the hour. 



Please let me know if you are able to ref either Saturday or Sunday or Both J also whether you would like to Center or AR.

I want to thank each of you that took the field this year at the 2008 NORCAL regional soccer tournament. 



For the 6 years that I have been involved in Refereeing at S.O. this was the best ref team and smoothest event yet. 



I thank each of you for: 

    • Signing up for multiple games

    • Dressed well in uniform and showed a high level of professionalism 
    • Your understanding of the special rules 
    • Excellent on field presence and quality game control 
    • Your passion and desire to volunteer and give to this community J
