We played a team last weekend (girls U7) where the coach was telling the player "You're the goalie. Get back in front of the goal!" The parents on my team were asking me why we didn't have a designated goalie.
(And yes, the little girl looked lonely and bored)

Hi, I was referee at a game on Saturday where one of the teams posted a player in front of the goal the whole game like a golie that can't use his hands. In fact there were times when I noticed that the player was lying on the ground inside the goal acting a little bored.
I suggested to the coach that he should pull the player up a bit since he was rarely involved in the game, but didn't really know what the policy in our region. I was basically ignored and it continued throughout the game. I was told by a few people that this violated the spirit of the rules but I didn't know of anything concrete so I didn't do anything about it.
Any suggestions on that, or should we even care.
Regards,
Paul
