[ayso45-refs] Question on U8 goal Kick

The AYSO Guide for Referees and Coaches says 

"As
with free kicks, the team taking the goal kick may elect to take a quick kick before all of the opposing
team has retreated outside the penalty area as required."

So I assume the referees do not enforce the opponents staying 6 yrds away ? Very often the Goalkeeper or defender quickly kicks the ball back into play, and in order not to interrupt the flow of the game, I let it pass. 

Is this correct ?
