*Welcome back for the fall 2009 AYSO soccer season!*

Please mark your calendars for a couple of key dates:

*_Returning Referee Refresher:_*

    */When/*: Sunday, August 23, 6:30-8:30 PM
    */Where/*: Springer School Multi, 1120 Rose Avenue

    This meeting is mandatory for all returning referees. (Annual
    training is an /AYSO National/ and a /Child and Volunteer Protection
    Act/ requirement.)

        If you are a "U8 Official" who will be taking the "Upgrade to
        Regional Referee" class this fall to move up to U10 matches, the
        refresher meeting is optional. You are welcome and encouraged to
        attend, to meet more of your fellow region 45 referees.

    Bring your volunteer registration forms and your photo id to the
    refresher meeting (or your first upgrade class).

_*Reminder: Volunteer (Re)Registration:*_

    Remember that every AYSO volunteer /must /update his/her
    registration in both eAYSO and WebYouthSoccer every year.  Please
    refer to the instructions on the new region 45 website
    (http://www.ayso45.org for general info, and
    http://ayso45.org/referees/returning-referees specifically for
    returning referees).

There are over 1800 kids enrolled in region 45 again this season, who 
need your support for a great soccer experience.  Thank you for 
volunteering.
