Hello Coaches,

Welcome to the Fall 2009 soccer season.

On Saturday August 8th we will be having our annual coaches meeting. This meeting is mandatory for all coaches in the U7 to U14 divisions. If you are a U6 coach and would like to attend you are more than welcome, but a separate meeting specific to the U6 program is scheduled for Saturday August 29th in the afternoon. The August 8th meeting runs from 10:30am to 1:30pm with Coach Certification Classes before and after.
 
Date: Saturday August 8th

Location: Springer Elementary School, 1120 Rose, Mountain View

Time:8:30 am to 10:00 am - U8,U10/U12 Coach Certification Class
       10:30am to 12:00pm - The presentation portion of our meeting. 
       12:00pm to 12:45pm - Lunch provided by AYSO plus questions and answers
       12:45pm to 1:30pm - Division Coordinators meet with the Coaches
       1:45pm to 4:00pm - Second half of the U10/U12 Coach Certification Class

The field training at 8:30am-10:00am and 1:45pm-4:00pm will be run by UK International Soccer Camps. This portion is optional, but we highly recommend you attend one of the Coach Certification Classes. There is no pre-registration necessary for the Coach Certification Classes on August 8th. We will have a sign in sheet at the field. U10/U12 coaches will need to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions. 
 
AYSO National has mandated that all coaches be certified to the level that they coach. If you are a U14 coach and do not have U12 certification I highly recommend you take the U12 class on August 8 and the following weekend take the Intermediate class in Sunnyvale. If you are not certified your team will not be allowed to go to any tournaments.
  
If you have vacation plans and cannot attend the meeting, please contact your Division Coordinator as they will need to provide you the necessary information.

If you have not already turned in your eAYSO volunteer paperwork please bring your paperwork (2 copies) to the Coaches Meeting.  Please visit www.ayso45.org and click on "COACHES"  for the procedure for registering yourself and printing out the volunteer forms. Uniforms will not be handed out to coaches who have not turned in their paperwork.
