[ayso45-coaches] AYSO 45 - USSF Coach Licenses Cross Certification Process

Hello Coaches,

If you don't currently hold a USSF Coach License, you can disregard this
Email.

With respect to AYSO's new mandate that all coaches will be certified to the
level of their teams, for those coaches who do own USSF Coach Licenses,
there is a formal reciprocity equivalency agreement process for getting you
AYSO coach certification.

Please see the attached document and the information below on how to
accomplish this. When you have gathered all of the information, please
contact both Kevin, our Regional Coach Administrator at
coachadmin at ayso45.org and Virginia, our Director of Coach Instruction at
cdi at ayso45.org  *by August 18th* with the information and intent to
cross-certify.

I want to queue up all of the remaining requests and have our two coaching
administrative volunteers only have to process it once, hence the deadline,
as there is work required on their part as well as yours.

We have already done two of these this summer and they took approximately 7
weeks to gain formal approval.

Here are the cross certifications from USSF to AYSO -


   - USSF A, B, C and D licenses cross certify to AYSO "Advanced" Coach.
   - USSF E licenses cross certify to AYSO "Intermediate" Coach
   - USSF YM 1 and YM3 (formerly F) licenses cross certify to AYSO "U12
   Coach"


Before contacting Kevin and Virginia, please make sure that you fulfill the
first two steps - registered AYSO volunteer for 2009 and that you have
completed Safe Haven for Coach certification. Please then provide the
information stated in steps 3 and 4 to Kevin and Virginia and it is our jobs
to communicate the requests to AYSO National.

Again, please send all requests for cross certification to Kevin and
Virginia by August 18th and we will process these in one batch.
