Thanks to all who came out for the coaches meeting and also to those attended coach certification training. AYSO requires that all head coaches are certified at or above the age level they coach, and encourages assistant coaches to be certfied as well, with all the coaches certified last weekend, we're a good part of the way there!
 
For those who were not able to attend, there are other opportunities to train in August. Please plan to take advantage of one of these training sessions. Also -- you must preregister online at https://www.eayso.org. 
 

August 15th – U8, 9:00-11:00 AM Cooper Park Mountain View
August 15th – U12, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Raynor Park Sunnyvale
August 15-16th – Intermediate, Sa: 8-4, Su: 9-4 Raynor Park Sunnyvale
August 22nd – U8, 9:00-11:00 AM Cooper Park Mountain View
August 22nd – U10/U12, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Cooper Park Mountain View
August 29th – U6, 1:00-3:00 PM Bubb Mountain View
August 29th  – U12, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Portola Valley Town Center Field 
August 29-30th – Intermediate, Sa: 8-4, Su: 9-4 Portola Valley Town Center Field

The field training above is recommended, but online training is also available for U-8 and U-10. U8 online will result in certification, while U10 online also requires field work (not currently available). Consult http://ayso45.org/coaches/training for more information.
